The Constitution comes first.
Party politics and the like come 3rd (after national defense).
Question is, how is someone who is born owing allegiance to a foreign nation considered a "natural born Citizen" of our country and eligible to be our Commander in Chief?
Nearly all of the so called Constitution loving "Conservatives" disregarded that question and in fact, ridiculed those who asked it.
There's simply zero excuse for that.

You’ve been a FReeper since 2008, and you think Democrats put politics 3rd after national defense? The US Senate is controlled lock stock and barrel by Harry Reid and his cohorts. The media is practically owned by the left. They hold the presidency and influence a lot of courts.
Which conservatives are ridiculing the US Constitution and its natural born citizen provision? I can’t speak for all conservatives, but I’m not seeing it. No. They’re ridiculing people who see only what they want to see and characterize the slightest gray area as absolute proof of their point of view.
