You were convinced it was the right thing to do because deep down, you’re an arrogant narcissist who thinks a vote is “about you” - when a vote is no such thing. A vote is about stewarding the choices you are given, and Goode is not a real choice. Adults, and those who aren’t consumed with some kind of holier than thou bullshit navel gazing attitude, understand this.
Apparently, your combination of ignorance and arrogance led you to a perverted decision. Enjoy the purity of your own irrelevance.

“I’m convinced it was the right thing to do.”
Keep telling yourself that, especially when 0bama appoints another couple of Supreme Court Justices.

Why not write in your own name, instead? That way the candidate you vote for will agree with you on everything. I would also point out that you, as a write in candidate, are just as likely to win the race as Goode is.

I voted for Virgil Goode.

Well, three months ago if you said you were voting for anyone -but- Goode, (or maybe Tom Hoefling, or leaving the top of the ballot blank) you'd run a good chance of being zotted here.
So I can't bash you, FRiend.

Texas right? So basically you voted for nothing.
To: fishtank
Why do you think Goode would be a better President than Romney? Who would serve in a Goode Administration, how would he work with Congress to get things done?
