The truth is, the Tea Party anger that boiled over in response to the President Obamas healthcare plan had been brewing for years due to conservative disappointment with George W. Bushs policies. Bush created record-breaking deficits, embraced Congressional earmarks, gained passage of an enormous expansion of Medicare entitlements without funding it, nominated Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court, and backed McCain-Kennedy comprehensive immigration reform.
Principled conservatives like Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity spoke out against the direction of the party, to their credit.
Conservatives must be careful not to abandon their principles out of blind hated for President Obama. In their zeal to make Obama a one-term president, they may just elect someone who ends up implementing policies that are to the left of George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

Romney vs. George W. Bush: Debate
http://go.bloomberg.com/political-capital/2012-10-16/romney-vs-george-w-bush-debate/
Ja-wan Williams can KMA!!!
Virgil Goode isn’t Jesus either. As a matter of fact, he’s worse than all the others. WHY is he willing to risk getting Obama reelected? Because he wants to feel powerful, even if it puts his country over the brink. He’s an egomaniac.
Voting Libertarian will save the country—LOL!!! What are you smoking?
Well stated and to the point.
“We might not get what we’d like in him as a Republican President. That’s why I am not voting for him and Juan Williams’ advice is sound.”
We might not.... but then again we might. You sound like a glass half empty type of person.
The question between Obama and Romney is a no-brainer. What are you, a zygote?
O’s only hope at this point is to suppress the Republican vote.
You can't fix stupid.
I have heard nothing to indicate Romney is to the left of Obama (or Bush)on either domestic or foreign policy. I’m willing to take that chance...
I am not sure why lefty juan is worried that Romney’s policies may be to the left of 0bama?
Its good to see he is aware of the massive deficit under Bush.
NOW he writes this nyah nyah nyah nyah? My generally friendly attitude for Juan has taken a nosedive lately. He just can’t accept the truth of his idol’s fall from grace. Sour grapes.
To the OP
Anyone
But
Obama
We might not get what we'd like in him as a Republican President. That's why I am not voting for him and Juan Williams' advice is sound.
Your concern is legitimate--after all, Richard Nixon, who campaigned for election and re-election as a conservative, had one of the most liberal records of any president. However, if the corrupt and incompetent ideologue who currently sits in the White House is given another term, the results will be disastrous for this country.
Should Romney be elected and then stray off the conservative reservation, we can fight those battles later.
Incidentally, why would you, a 12-year veteran of this board, base your decision on the advice of Juan Williams, a solid liberal and an Obama partisan?
Don’t neglect to mention: it is our dear friend Gluteus’ hope as well. Hope and change, if you will.
Wow!!! Obvious (and totally dweeb-dumb) effort in reverse psychology by Juan!
JW: “You don’t really want that mean ole rotten, nasty, lyin’ liberal trickster Mitt Romney, now . . . do ya?”
Such a thing might work with a very few weak-minded ones (such as the so-called undecideds). But it won’t work on anyone with basic reasoning skills who has lived through the hell of the last 4 years!
You know what they say . . . keep your day job, Juan, LOL!!!
Heh. Juan Williams. “I’m Barack Obama and I approved this message.”
Conservatives have no illusions about who Mitt Romney is. We are simply well aware of who he is not.
