Romney lied? Gee who would have guessed.

“What the Court did not do on its last day in session, I will do on my first day if elected President of the United States and that is I will act to repeal Obamacare."

"Well, I'm not getting rid of all of healthcare reform,...Of course there are a number of things that I like in healthcare reform that I'm going to put in place...one is to make sure that those with pre-existing conditions can get coverage."

0bama had the democrats ram this bitter legislation (or tax) down our throats and now Romney tells us he's giving us seconds?

This ONE thing means he's not getting my vote. Let 0bama finish trashing Amerika with 4 more years.

One more politician, one lie too many.

Goode doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of having any beneficial effect whatsoever.

I consider it beneficial - nay, vital - the the GOP-e know that they can get conservative votes only with conservative candidates.

It’s one thing if your boy gets (say) 20%-30% of the vote, and spoils the race in (say) thirteen states. THAT sends a clear message, and yes, it could be long term beneficial (if not exactly wise in the short term).

It’s quite another thing to get 1/2 of 1% of the total vote, while spoiling the race in one important state. You’ll be viewed by the conservative-leaning electorate as insolent toddlers throwing a selfish temper tantrum and pro-actively ignored and blocked from then on. And rightfully so. You’ll actually HURT the conservative cause. And you and your boy will be hated with a blind passion by quite a few real conservatives, should Obama win. Count me one of them.

The latter scenario is far more likely with Goode than is the former scenario.

I can't give him any more votes than my 1, and I don't vote in Virginia.

So to prove a point to the Republican establishment, you will assist in Obama being re-elected.

I refer back to my original comment.

So to prove a point to the Republican establishment,

And to not vote for a liberal.

you will assist in Obama being re-elected.

To not fall on a grenade to prevent, is not to "assist."

Yeah, but like it or not, ‘falling on a grenade’ is not what you’re doing.

You’re pulling the pin on a grenade and shoving it down your underpants... and that’s “stupid”.

While he claims to be a conservative, he aids and abets the current POTUS because Romney is not pure enough. Wile I at first attributed idiocy to this idioic group think, and FR is full of these like minded individuals, I know must come to the conclusion that they are indeed trolls; here and spewing there comments solely for the pupose supports their true cause , which can be found on web site such as Democrats Underground.

I believe the we have outed another.

PS. I did not vote for Romney in the primaries. Ron Paul represented my views best except for his foreign policy stance. There were very limited acceptable candidates to choose from. Some were properly conservative but limited on leadership and management skills. Some had good skills but poor credentials. The best of the lot, in my opinion at the time was Newt, even with all of his baggage. But guess what? My candidate did not win. So instead of acting like a spoiled child of 6 who would take his ball and go home, I am interested in the future of this country that is coming apart at the seems under the current communist who hates America, I have decided to support the candidate, who I do not necessarily care for, and try to keep Obama to one term. This other stuff is a distraction and is destructive. We need all of the votes we can get.

>> I believe the we have outed another.

IMHO there are four categories of Romney denigrators:

1) Principled (but, IMO, misguided) conservatives
2) “Paultards” (no offense meant to you)
3) Trolls
4) Operatives from the other camp

You can usually categorize ‘em after reading enough posting history. However it can be tough to discriminate between 3) and 4). If posting history is scanty, go with 3) or 4) as a rule of thumb. :-)

I put JSNTN in category 2) based on length of time here and prior posts.

FRegards
