The primaries are the time to make your feelings known on the direction of the party. In the general election you have to be pragmatic and choose the lesser of two evils.

Party hacks may feel somehow obliged, for whatever ungodly reason, to march in eternal lockstep with Der Party, regardless of who (or what) is serving as its titular head. That's their hard luck, if so.

No conservative, on the other hand -- unaffiliated with said cabal in any way, shape or form -- is under any such obligation.

Unam Sanctam:

Choosing the "lesser of two evils" seems a self-contradiction for one who chooses "unam sanctam" as a screenname. The lesser of two evils is still EVIL. Mittler's health care fiasco is even worse than Obozo's when it comes to persecuting the Roman Catholic Church. Who was the lesser of two evils: Caligula or Nero? Who would you support and why (assuming that the Roman Empire had elections or that you were in command of the Praetorian Guard)? Oh, and I don't HAVE to be any such thing as "pragmatic" or to "choose the lesser of two evils". And I won't ever do either any more.

If you succeed in electing Mittler, don't whine at his barbarian Obozo act-alike standards of governance. It will fall on deaf ears. We did not elect Ronaldus Maximus by learning to roll over and play dead for our enemies in the GOP.

How many dead babies will "conservatives" be willing to trade to get Mittler elected and to destroy the GOP as a political vehicle for the translation of conservative ideals into governing reality? One million? Four million? Five or six million? Is this what "conservatism" has come down to? Are our souls this blatantly for sale? Mittler and the big money boys lusting for gummint boodle spent zillions on a carpet-bombing campaign of lies, slanders and libels to destroy each and every decent and conservative candidate for the GOP nomination and you think our response should be to reward the bastard and his corrupt friends for such tactics???

As to timing, let us have war without end 24/7/365 within the GOP until all of the elitist trash and their sycophants are politically exterminated. That is Job #1 until it is accomplished.

I 'choose' NOT to choose evil; but thanks anyway.
