Graybeard58, this is not directed at you or Politicalmom. But it’s a launch point for me to note that not all FReepers know by heart, or can remember, the personal histories and past posts of all the other FReepers. The frequent admonition of others posters to me has boiled down to “Go search my posts”, with the implication that I ought to remember everything about their thought processes. Not to say that the search feature isn’t valuable to me, but I and others here have to take people’s current posts at their face value and should not have to respond to one particular person’s posting history each time we respond to the actual words used in his current post.

Everyone here does not know every other poster as well as those who may consider themselves the real FReepers, the original crowd, who remember everything except what they don’t.

Much confusion and acrimony can be avoided on Free Republic if we regular posters dedicate themselves to saying exactly what we mean clearly in each post. I’ll quit using “/rhetorical” and others can eliminate the sarcasm which is not clearly indicated as such. That would be a start.

Murrymom is a banned freeper, JimRob tolerated her blatantly far left rantings for years, ignoring calls for her banning. She was outrageously leftist in all her postings, she was left of anybody at D.U. J.R. left her here so long because of her laugh value and she was so easily debated and defeated.

I suppose he eventually tired of her antics and banned her.

My post was an answer to another person who referenced MurryMom, so I knew at least that that poster knew who MurryMom was. Not an “insider” or a member who is “in the know”, just answering someone who brought up the subject.

For a real hoot, look up her posting history and you’ll see what I mean.

I’ve been pushing for an idealogical litmus matrix here on FR, not to get rid of RINOs but to expose them.

***It simply takes too long. Look at this thread alone. I see evidence of RINOism in some of the FReepers on this thread. It takes 700 posts to drill down. We need the matrix posted and available so that we don’t have to drill down on every FReeping thread. They’re wasting our time. Deliberately.

Agreed to a large degree. Perhaps a way to rate members by other members???
