Except for his unfortunate go along to get along support of TARP, bailouts, stimulus spending and the increased credit limit, etc, Ryan is a pretty good choice. Probably the best choice of the RINOS that were on Romney's short list. I support Ryan for the vice presidency. Wish he were at the top of the ticket, though.
But I still cannot and will not support the grand father of ObamaCare. Romney still loves and brags about his bastard brainchild, RomneyCare, even today when he knows what an anti-liberty socialist POS it is.
And the fact that he advocated that abortion should be safe and legal in America for over three decades of his adult lifetime and even advocated that Roe v Wade should be supported and sustained as settled law precludes any consideration whatsoever by this pro-life Christian for Myth Romney for the presidency.
And the fact that he boasted that he would be better for "gay rights" than Ted Kennedy, and proved it just increases my resistance.
That, and his penchant for gun control, his continuing support for global warming, gays in the scouts, gays in the military, and his record of appointing liberal judges makes it all but impossible for me to support him.
Lastly, we're having a bit of changeover on our moderator staff. At least two moderators resigned this afternoon after I flatly refused to rein in a so-called anti-Mormon "bigot" on FR. Well, if being in opposition to false prophets and false prophecy makes a Christian believer a bigot, then I guess I'm a bigot. I've posted before that I flat do not believe that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. Nor do I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. The Christian bible warns us to be weary of false prophets and that I am. Romney being the presumptive Republican nominee does not change that fact.
I attend a church called “Trinity Church”. Non denominational. 3rd time I’m answering that particular question.
Which one? Which bible version?
***Whichever suits us at the time. Pastor seems to like New American Standard or NIV but sometimes quotes from some other version. The pews have NIV bibles. It is not set in stone. Virtually none of the modern versions have any real discrepancies where major doctrines come into play, such as the Deity of Christ that I’ve been talking to you about.
For some reason, I thought you were male. lol
You never answered all of my questions, remember? How many do you get to ignore? What’s the ratio, 10:1? You get to ignore 10 of mine for every 1 I might ignore of yours?
I would think that for purposes of discussion, having your chosen religion be public knowledge would be most helpful.
***I answered it. 3 times. So, what difference DID it make?
sf4dubya has been open and honest,
***That’s a load of horse manure.
Do you ever have a mission that serves conservative politics?
Makes you a righteous nation with a share of the World to Come.
***That does not jibe with the supposed “hundreds of false prophets” in the new testament you posited.
Nice story about one of the hundreds of false prophets at that time. Not G-ds word. Reaffirms my JEWISH faith every single time I read it.
***So... the new testament contains hundreds of false prophets
Again you have lied, you say that you did that, but you cannot post how Jews, Muslims and Atheists have voted during all of American history, you don't even know.
Liar, where did you answer my question? The Jewish/secular vote has NEVER gone republican.
To: sf4dubya
Have Jews/seculars, ever voted republican in America, in all of our history?

Or, to oblivion?
***It’s already IN oblivion. It’s in the smoky back room.
there is a very, very good reason why for thousands of years, we have our Torah scrolls locked up... oy vey...
***Once again we see your lack of honesty. You go out of your way to perceive some slight that isn’t there, or argue against something that was not said. This dishonesty & inability to be real are likely to cause the death of your soul.
Good rant - I thought I addressed my question to someone else, but you are a fine surrogate. I am guessing that you have reached the "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose" stage and have finally acheived true freedom - you no longer have to worry about clawing to preserve the last vestiges of it and can merely succumb to those that would take everything from you. Following your principles is likely to result in a fraud machine gone wild and leave another Revolutionary War as the only hope - only this time the bad guys are very well aremed and based right here - they don't have to sail 3,000 miles to get to us.
I'm starting to think that many of you belong to some new movement that sees the destruction of what's left of the USA as the catalyst to make you relevant and you are using arguments like Religion and Who served in the military as comfortable crutches.
I said Romney is not a Hitler, and he’s not a Stalin.
This can’t be said about Obama.
Amazing! Our Fore Fathers were God-fearing men who believed that Men should be Free to worship as they wished. They would not support a Christian Theocracy any more than you would submit to Sharia, yet you do push. Politics and Religion don’t mix for the very same reason we have been witnessing here on FR for a while. Have your strong Christian beliefs (I am an unabashed lover of Jesus too), but don’t insist the Politicians have the same beliefs. Obama is so much more evil than you make Romney out to be that Satan truly is laughing at how “Christian Principles” are going to keep His guy in the WH.
The one sentence comeback from those who deny there is one Church.
“Who denied that?
What I denied was YOUR NARROW definition of it.”
~ ~ ~
My “narrow definition?” I quoted Ephesians Chapter 4, ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism. That’s pretty narrow and do you forget Our Lord’s words...
Matthew 7:13
Enter ye in at the NARROW gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there are who go in thereat.
