"Meet The Parents....of alias Barack Obama. Black Sunni Muslim father and White Lebanese Christian mother. Born in the ME, raised in Indonesia, became BHO II in 1982." Dr. Ron J. Polland
The Mal-Val youtube video at the link was posted by FReeper Polarik (Dr. Ron Polland) in August of 2011 and while morphing the image of a woman named Val into an image of Obama, he insinuates that Val is Obamas mom. One year later this youtube has only 1,150 views.
In July 2012, two FReepers associated the woman, Val, in Polariks Youtube with Lebanese actress Valerie Sarruf and have posted multiple images of her at various ages on FR eligibility threads. I am opening this thread to invite discussion of and links to any evidence that either supports or refutes a claim that Valerie Sarruf is Barack Obamas mother, with or without Malcolm X being his father.
Where could Malcolm X and Valerie Sarruf have been in 1960 when baby Barry would have been conceived? Is there any evidence that Sarruf could have been pregnant and delivered a baby in 1961? In what country could the baby have been delivered? How and when could the alleged Mal-Val baby have been inserted into the identity and life narrative of the person we have come to know as Barack Hussein Obama?
Full disclosure: I refute categorically all of the Mal-Val narrative as wildly speculative and unsupported by any evidence that I have seen so far.
For several years now a shadowy coterie of FReepers styling themselves as researchers has gone onto nearly every FR eligibility thread to aggressively refute all evidence that Stanley Ann Dunham was Barack Obamas mother. They have actually declared flat out that she was never in Hawaii before 1963, contrary to the voluminous evidence including INS FOIA documents!
Requests for links or any evidence that Stanley Ann is NOT the mom have been frequently met with abusive ad hominem attacks and accompanied by claims that ALL documentary evidence showing her to have been in Hawaii in 1960 and 1961 is forged, but no credible evidence of forgery has offered. I make this observation as a retired Certified Fraud Examiner and CPA.
For years the researchers had claimed mysteriously to have conclusive evidence that a different woman is Barrys mom, but refused to reveal her name or any evidence other than her picture because the researchers claimed it would disappear from the net and/or from hard copy archives of the records. But this month, the researchers appear to have slipped up and revealed that Valerie Sarruf has been the woman whose identity they have been protecting. They have since attempted to walk back the revelation, but it is clear, IMO.
The researchers claim that they earnestly want to remove Obama from office. But wouldnt revealing ALL EVIDENCE of a foreign mother and foreign birth (which they also claim) be the most logical approach to removing Obama rather than hiding the identity of this alternative mother for years while attacking FR threads that sincerely attempt to find out where Stanley Ann Dunham was when she gave birth to Barry?
In my opinion, the best evidence that Valerie Sarruf is NOT Barrys mother is the mountain of evidence that Stanley Ann Dunham IS his mother, which the researchers have totally failed to refute.
Again, please use this thread for discussion of and links to any evidence that either supports or refutes a claim that Valerie Sarruf IS Barack Obamas mother with or without Malcolm X being his father.

Maraniss Bio Deepens Obama Birth Mystery
By Jack Cashill
David Maraniss has no use for birthers. In a recent interview, he dismissed their beliefs as preposterous and wonders why they cling to them, since every fact and document leads in another direction.
Yet the one core belief that has united the birther community if there be such a thing is that Obama dissembled when he talked at both the 2004 and 2008 Democratic Conventions about his parents improbable love and abiding faith in the possibilities of this nation.
Birthers have known for years that there was no Obama family, that the couple never lived together, that Obama campaigned on a lie, and that the major media covered for him every step of the way. This, ironically, Maraniss confirms in Barack Obama: The Story, a book that has to be parsed as carefully as the Talmud or Finnegans Wake to be made sense of. Despite his slam on birthers, the facts herein will come as more of a shock to the Obama faithful than to those who have questioned the official birth narrative.
In the college life of Barack Obama [Senior] in 1961 and 1962, writes Maraniss, as recounted by his friends and acquaintances in Honolulu, there was no Ann; there was no baby. Although Maraniss talked to many of Obama Sr.s friends, none of the credible ones ever so much as saw him with Obamas mother, Ann Dunham.
One Obama friend, a Cambodian named Kiri Tith, knew the senior Obama very well. He had also met Ann through a different channel. But he had no idea, writes Maraniss, that Ann knew Obama, let alone got hapai (pregnant) by him, married him, and had a son with him.
Having established the facts, Maraniss turns protective. He refuses to explore the implications of his own reporting. The most consequential is that Obama grounded his 2008 campaign his very persona, for that matter on a family story that was pure fraud. Lyndon Johnsons masterful biographer, Robert Caro, would never let his subject walk away from such a lie unscathed.
The casual reader of the Maraniss book is left with the impression that Ann and Obama had a one-night stand that they both regretted, but that they consented to marriage because that is what people did back in 1961. The more informed reader wonders whether Barack Obama, Sr. was fronting for the real father, the best candidate being Obamas future mentor, Frank Marshall Davis. Maraniss opens the door on both possibilities but fails to even peek through.
As to the presumed February 1961 wedding, the usually thorough Maraniss offers no detail at all. His endnotes say only this: Marriage facts recorded in divorce records. To be sure, Ann and Obama claimed a wedding. It suited both their purposes: Obama to extend his visa, and Dunham to legitimize her baby with a black husband.
As to the divorce, Dunham at the time was desperately trying to keep her future husband Lolo Soetoro in the country. The INS believed her to be married to Obama. Even if she were not married, a divorce would have been useful to clear the way for a marriage to Soetoro. Maraniss explains none of this.
Like all other mainstream biographers of the Obama family, Maraniss tells us not a single word about Anns life in the six months between the February wedding and Obamas August 1961 birth. Given the controversy surrounding Obamas place of birth, Maraniss should have commented on a void of this duration, and he knows it.
Later, when discussing Obamas murky New York years, he opines, Nothing is so tempting for conspiracy theorists as what appears to be a hole in a life. Maraniss attempts to flesh out the New York years. He makes no effort to fill this critical hole in Anns life.
On the subject of the birth, the usually voluble Maraniss is as tight-lipped as he is on the wedding. He reports that Obama was born at 7:24 in the evening of August 4, 1961 at Kapiolani Hospital. As reference, he cites State of Hawaii Certificate of Live Birth, presumably the unverified document posted online last April.
In the way of confirmation, Maraniss offers only one story an elaborate one that he takes two pages to tell. It comes down to this: a woman is having lunch shortly after Obamas birth with an OB/GYN, who tells her, Stanley had a baby. Now thats something to write home about.
The woman, Barbara Czurles-Nelson, has been telling this story for several years. Maraniss adds the clarification that the doctor in question was not the one who delivered the baby, as first reported, but someone who had heard the Stanley anecdote on the grapevine.
One serious flaw in Maranisss reporting is that he gives too much credence to obviously inflated memories. A glaring example, one that has been cited often as fact, is of the paper Obama allegedly wrote as a schoolboy in Indonesia in which he said, Someday I want to be president.
Maraniss quotes the entire, seemingly impressive paper, both in English and in the Indonesian language, Bahasa. He then adds, The paper no longer exists, though [the teachers] memory is precise and there is no reason not to trust it. No, David, there is every reason not to trust it.
Czurles-Nelson also remembers her story much too well. In the gratuitously lengthy account of the Stanley anecdote, the reader learns, for instance, that 50 years earlier, Czurles-Nelson and the doctor were sitting near the lunch buffet. This is the kind of confirming detail Maraniss likes to provide.
All the stranger, then, is his failure to provide a single shred of information regarding the circumstances surrounding Obamas birth. The reader has no idea who took Ann to the hospital, who delivered her baby, who took her home, or even where home was.
Maraniss hints at where home was not namely, the residence her parents shared with the Pratt family at 6085 Kalanianole Highway, the address listed on the birth certificate. As Maraniss relates, the Pratt daughter, then an adolescent, has no memory of the Dunhams daughter bringing an infant home. He adds, [Ann] and Obama and the infant never lived [at 6085 Kalanianole].
Indeed, the young family never lived together, and this Maraniss concedes. Within a month of the day Barry came home from the hospital, he writes, he and his mother were long gone from Honolulu, back on the mainland ... . They had decamped for Seattle, where they would live for the next year.
Maraniss interviewed not a single person who saw the newborn in Hawaii. It is likely that Obama Sr. never saw young Barry. Barry Obamas first sighting was in Seattle. Maraniss tells us nothing about how Ann and the baby got there.
In the blogosphere, these revelations do not comes as news. In the mainstream media, however, they must stun. In their respective biographies of Obama and his family, all published 2010 or later, the New Yorkers David Remnick, the Boston Globes Sally Jacobs, and the New York Timess Janny Scott and Jodi Kantor each consciously skirted the facts to sustain the illusion of a functioning Obama family. More troubling, conservative writer Dinesh DSouza did the same in his disingenuous 2010 bestseller, The Roots of Obamas Rage.
As recently as Fathers Day 2012, Obama was telling Americas schoolchildren that his father left when I was two years old. The media let him get away with it. Is it any wonder that birthers dont take their criticisms too seriously?
Maraniss debunks this fraudulent birth narrative much too quietly. Perhaps he feels guilty about contributing to it himself. He wrote a 10,000-word Obama bio for the Washington Post in August 2008, and he made a total botch out of the birth narrative. Had he gotten the story straight then, he might have turned the election.

Actually if you click the “Walk” option it is only 3.5 miles. And of course there was public transportation available as well.
“The kenyan student and his brother Omar, photographed together. They shared accommodation at the Magazine Street Boston address. When might that have been taken?”
I agree; BHO Sr. looks nearly exactly like he looks in those photos that were said to be taken at the airport, in Hawaii, with young Barack II and Mom in a pretty white dress.
And they are certainly both older than what we would expect them to be in the early sixties when they were both living in Boston. 'Dreams' maintains Omar left Kenya and was 'lost' - but he couldn't have been very lost if his brother visited him and had this photo taken in the seventies. Omar, who called himself Obama Onyango, wrote a comment that was published in Ebony in 1971.
Ok, this person is named Pete O'Neal and in this picture (shown below), he looks VERY similar to Obama (as well as Malcolm X and he named his son Malcolm, but I digress...)
So here is Pete... and get this, he is from KANSAS CITY and started the Black Panther Party chapter there. He has been on the run from the law since 1971 (it was all a set up, of course, all their arrests were set up *eye roll*)
Notice how similar his kid looks to a young Obama too...
Here is Pete with Odinga (of the Brinks Robbery with Weather Underground / mother and father of Bill Ayers adopted son)
Still doing some research... just struck me.

..."The teachings of Malcolm X, who was then with the Nation of Islam, became a big influence on me at that time. After my release, I became involved in Black political activity in New York, especially revolutionary, nationalist politics. In 1964, I also became involved in the Cultural Nationalist movement. By 1965, I had joined the organization of African American Unity, founded by El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz (Malcolm X). I began to move with and among many young African Nationalists. My political consciousness was growing daily. I was reading and listening to many Afrikan Nationalists from Africa and the U.S. and became convinced that only after a successful armed struggle would New Afrikans gain freedom and self-determination. I also became convinced that integration would never solve the problems faced by New Afrikans...etc...

“In 1970, I was asked to go to Algeria to help set up the International section of the BPP. After the split in the Party, caused by the COINTELPRO program, I decided to come back to the U.S. to continue the struggle. I continued to work until my capture in October of 1981. I was charged with six counts of attempted murder of police, for shooting over my shoulder while being chased and shot at by police. I was also charged with nine predicate acts of a RICO indictment. I was convicted of the attempted murders and given twenty-five years-to-life for it. I was convicted of two counts of the RICO indictment (the liberation of Assata Shakur and expropriation of an armored truck) and given twenty years and $25,000 fine for each RICO charge. Check out # 1,123 for photos about Pete ONeal... who hung out in the jazz clubs in Kansas City in the late 50s, early 60s (with Stanley Armour Dunham) on 12th St with the Jazz greats and who... well, look at the photos. Just a big coincidence in resemblance as well as circumstance. Oh, and Pete ONeal is a BIG MARXIST...
Odinga (the Brinks Robbery one who was involved with Boudin/Gilbert-both of Weather Underground and parents of the child that Ayers and Dorhn adopted) also traveled to Algiers to visit with Pete and Charlotte ONeal.
Stanley (both father and daughter) were big jazz fans... Pete ONeal grew up on 12th St in Kansas City which is the jazz capital of the world with Count Basie, etc... anyway, Pete ALSO named his daughter Ann.
Then check out more photos ... see # 1,134 for links to those photos.
Also photos at # 1,135 , # 1,140 , and # 1,147.
Thanks, autumnraine. Good find.
Re: the pic at #1123
Holy Cow! Now that guy “Pete” looks like Barry’s sperm donor!
I’ve studied a lot of pictures of potential daddy’s for O, and that guy is the spittin’ image of President Urkel.
The look in “Pete’s” eyes, the way he holds his head, the expression on his face, the face in general...OMGoodness, I think you’ve found a winner!
So he popped over to the mainland, made his way to Boston to visit with Omar, before he went back to Kenya, money no object. And we have to get out of the habit of automatically calling Stanley Ann Dunham 'Mom' - I see nothing that shows she was mother to anyone but Maya.
We really do not know whose child she showed Susan Blake do we?
Susan said SAD borrowed a car from a friend of her mothers, she didn't know how to change a diaper ( or didn't want to) and said she was flying out to Boston that day. Susan was under the impression SAD was planning to find accommodation and a job in Boston. She changed her story later to say that 'she' was going to Boston to join 'her husband' - who would NOT be in Boston until almost a year later. It's no wonder that long video interview with Susan has been reduced down to a few seconds, is it?
What we are up to now, is, to whom did Stanley Ann Dunham deliver that child in Boston? Who could she possibly have known there?
While SAD was sitting there with Susan eating sugar-cookies, Mary was baby-sitting a seven month old child for Anna Obama, whom we gather, from the INS docs, the mother was thinking about having adopted.
And then a miracle happens. About 18 months later, the two little boys have their photograph taken sitting next to each other.
