And they are certainly both older than what we would expect them to be in the early sixties when they were both living in Boston. 'Dreams' maintains Omar left Kenya and was 'lost' - but he couldn't have been very lost if his brother visited him and had this photo taken in the seventies. Omar, who called himself Obama Onyango, wrote a comment that was published in Ebony in 1971.
Ok, this person is named Pete O'Neal and in this picture (shown below), he looks VERY similar to Obama (as well as Malcolm X and he named his son Malcolm, but I digress...)
So here is Pete... and get this, he is from KANSAS CITY and started the Black Panther Party chapter there. He has been on the run from the law since 1971 (it was all a set up, of course, all their arrests were set up *eye roll*)
Notice how similar his kid looks to a young Obama too...
Here is Pete with Odinga (of the Brinks Robbery with Weather Underground / mother and father of Bill Ayers adopted son)
Still doing some research... just struck me.
OBAMA THE AFRICAN COLONIAL LINK.
..."The teachings of Malcolm X, who was then with the Nation of Islam, became a big influence on me at that time. After my release, I became involved in Black political activity in New York, especially revolutionary, nationalist politics. In 1964, I also became involved in the Cultural Nationalist movement. By 1965, I had joined the organization of African American Unity, founded by El-Hajj Malik El-Shabazz (Malcolm X). I began to move with and among many young African Nationalists. My political consciousness was growing daily. I was reading and listening to many Afrikan Nationalists from Africa and the U.S. and became convinced that only after a successful armed struggle would New Afrikans gain freedom and self-determination. I also became convinced that integration would never solve the problems faced by New Afrikans...etc...

“In 1970, I was asked to go to Algeria to help set up the International section of the BPP. After the split in the Party, caused by the COINTELPRO program, I decided to come back to the U.S. to continue the struggle. I continued to work until my capture in October of 1981. I was charged with six counts of attempted murder of police, for shooting over my shoulder while being chased and shot at by police. I was also charged with nine predicate acts of a RICO indictment. I was convicted of the attempted murders and given twenty-five years-to-life for it. I was convicted of two counts of the RICO indictment (the liberation of Assata Shakur and expropriation of an armored truck) and given twenty years and $25,000 fine for each RICO charge. All sentences run consecutively. “ Sekou Odinga, in Can’t Jail the Spirit

Check out # 1,123 for photos about Pete ONeal... who hung out in the jazz clubs in Kansas City in the late 50s, early 60s (with Stanley Armour Dunham) on 12th St with the Jazz greats and who... well, look at the photos. Just a big coincidence in resemblance as well as circumstance. Oh, and Pete ONeal is a BIG MARXIST...
Odinga (the Brinks Robbery one who was involved with Boudin/Gilbert-both of Weather Underground and parents of the child that Ayers and Dorhn adopted) also traveled to Algiers to visit with Pete and Charlotte ONeal.
Stanley (both father and daughter) were big jazz fans... Pete ONeal grew up on 12th St in Kansas City which is the jazz capital of the world with Count Basie, etc... anyway, Pete ALSO named his daughter Ann.
Then check out more photos ... see # 1,134 for links to those photos.
Also photos at # 1,135 , # 1,140 , and # 1,147.
Thanks, autumnraine. Good find.
Re: the pic at #1123
Holy Cow! Now that guy “Pete” looks like Barry’s sperm donor!
I’ve studied a lot of pictures of potential daddy’s for O, and that guy is the spittin’ image of President Urkel.
The look in “Pete’s” eyes, the way he holds his head, the expression on his face, the face in general...OMGoodness, I think you’ve found a winner!
