Aging rocker and reality TV personality Ted Nugent is emerging, even ahead of Donald Trump, as Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romneys most embarrassing public supporter.
Nugent is at it again, reacting to the Supreme Courts ruling upholding the Affordable Care Act by writing in the Rev. Sun Myung Moons Washington Times that America would have been better off had the South won the Civil War.
A full Nugent rant, which might be subtitled Robe Rage:
The bottom line is that Chief Justice Roberts traitor vote will ensure more monumental spending and wasted taxes and put almost 15 percent of the nations gross domestic product under one of the worlds most bureaucratic, ineffective, incompetent and grossly expensive systems ever devised by man: our out-of-control federal government.

We’ll get you into safe country. We don’t care about the color of your skin, we care about your character (which in this case, is demonstrated by your beliefs). Come be with fellow conservatives.
...and bolts from room! lol!
That would put you squarely on “our side”. And it is a wise decision to home school your children. And if you are not already a resident of the “center section” of our country, you’d be welcomed.
The northeastern states have bankrupted themselves, both financially and morally for the most part. and also California. There are still good folks in those states, they just don’t have much of an opportunity to turn things around at this point, IMHO.
If your home state is Texas then I would imagine that it puts you in a relatively good place - unless (like me) you live adjacent to one of the more urban “liberal indoctrination centers”.
From what I read Texas has weathered Øbomanomics fairly well and although there are those who think secession is OK in the rhetoric sense, I doubt that few would subject themselves and their families to that sort of foolish misery.
And staying loyal to the Union would bring freedom and prosperity?
You'd rather willingly except servitude than fight for your God given rights? I'd rather my family live free from governmental interference - knowing that freedom is never free. This Country was built around several premises Individual Liberty, personal responsibility, etc. Just look how far have we come. Foolish misery you say.
Without freedom we have nothing..
If you consider where we currently are servitude then don’t you also “willingly except(sic) servitude”? Or have you already rebelled? And if you have rebelled, what form has that rebellion taken? Are you actively repelling those loathsome federal invaders? Have you fired on any forts? Didja build a gate on the Idaho state line to keep out the riffraff?
My guess is that you’ve done nothing but flap your jaws. Or perhaps you play dress-up and stomp around with a fearsome scowl and a determined set of your jaw. C’mon idabooby - what’s your plan for the grand rebellion?
How can I/my State have some sort of rebellion? Since all authority the federal government has is in trust. We are the sovereign authority - it is they that have rebelled against us.
It goes like this: The United States vs The several States. The very government the States created for their mutual benefit has turned against them. It now has become a rouge government fully equipped with( it is a "tax" ) rubber stamping supreme court.
Have you fired on any forts?
Are you behind the fort walls?
Didja build a gate on the Idaho state line to keep out the riffraff?
Good idea! How is Seattle, btw ?
Cmon idabooby - whats your plan for the grand rebellion?
Just go ahead and reelect that POS and see.
"Where resort can be had to no tribunal superior to the authority of the parties, the parties themselves must be the rightful judges in the last resort, whether the bargain made has been pursued or violated. The Constitution of the United States was formed by the sanction of the States, given by each in its sovereign capacity. The States then, being parties to the constitutional compact and in their sovereign capacity, it follows of necessity that there can be no tribunal above their authority to decide, in the last resort, whether the compact made by them be violated, and consequently that, as the parties to it, they must themselves decide, in the last resort, such questions as may be of sufficient magnitude to require their interposition."
Amen!!
Ah idabooby, don't you like me anymore?
imho, you can’t “win” a civil war. the country emerged as a whole, but altogether weaker.
Psalm 144 wrote”My dad used to say that the Northerner would tell the black man he could go higher, but could not come closer. The Southerner would tell the black man he could come closer, but could not go higher. There is too much truth in those generalizations. Happily they are fading to some extent.”
The Civil Rights Legislation made it possible for Blacks to both come closer and go higher. In fifty years, the race, for the most part, has chosen not to do much of either. Instead of dropping the hyphen and becoming Americans along with the rest of us; they have found it easier and more lucrative to keep their skin color as their most important consideration.
As evidenced by the abscence of their most prominate member at the NAACP recently; their Democratic benefactors have found a new and potentially more valuable segment to brainwash. They’re called Latinos. Dims take the so-called African-American vote totally for granted. Therefore, they are passing out the goodies to their new squeeze.
Absolutely it would be best had they won, not a doubt in my mind. I am from Florida, still have a home there and many relatives. The military has moved us all around, Georgia, New Jersey, Germany, back to Florida with our 2 kids while my husband was over in Iraq. They closed the base in New Jersey and we were transferred to Maryland.
So, there were only slaves and racists in the South. Please get your facts straight. You are sorely mistaken.
Indeed!
Interesting how you include Palin in with Cain and Bachman. I wasn’t aware that she ran
All that’s left is the divorce. There are irreconcilable differences that will never be repaired.
May I 2nd what you said?
Thumbs up.
Yes indeed.
