For the first time in the event's 25-year history, tickets to Burning Man have sold out. With more than a month left to go before the gates to Black Rock City open at midnight on Aug. 28, burners have already started a mad scramble for spare tickets through various message boards and online networks.

a festival for drug addicts. From pics I've seen in news stories, it always looked like a mix of druggies and sexual deviants.
I remember a pic of some fat chick who was naked except for body paint. My retinas still hurt from that image.

For a lot of the original participants, they would have told you that Burning Man sold out years ago.

It’s also a sex depraved, totally uninhibited, idol worshiping group of self-absorbed, sense of entitlement morons. Then again, the San Francisco Bay Guardian is a piece of garbage that appeals to the type of creatures who attend Burning Man. Most certainly, all of these lowlifes voted for Obama!

Good. Now they will be all in one place. Time to drop a tactical Nuke for the countries sake.

My response was to the creeps in the pic, not to your post.

Yeah right, as if that’s going to stop the freeloaders from crashing it, just like at Woodstock.

“New York State Thruway’s closed, man!”
Y’know what I want to see? At the peak of this thing, I want to see a bunch of aerial firefighting tankers scream over on a low pass, wingtip-to-wingtip, and drop thousands of gallons of soapy water on the smelly hippies. Then have a second flight behind them with nice cold fresh water for a rinse. The ecology of the high desert would thus be vastly improved, and communities downwind from Burning Man wouldn’t have to put up with Stinky Mans.

Might have been her..

For a lot of the original participants, they would have told you that Burning Man sold out years ago.Quite true from my experience too.
I've talked to a few of the original freaks, and some up-and-coming freaks of the newer generation, and they all consider Burning Man to be a huge capitalist sell-out.
But that begs the question: Where do the genuine counter-culture freaks go now...?

But that begs the question: Where do the genuine counter-culture freaks go now...? They register as Republicans and support the Tea Party.

Lol!
Ain't that the truth.
