I searched the article to see if they were intellectually honest enough to mention the biggest money in politics: George Soros. Indeed they did mention him . . .

Many of them tried to change the subject to George Soros, the billionaire backer of liberal causes. But Soros is a publicity hound who is transparent about where he shovels his money. And like many liberals — selflessly or foolishly, depending on your point of view — he supports causes that are unrelated to his business interests and that, if anything, raise his taxes.

They actually said he is transparent! That's their excuse to the readers as to why they don't investigate his spending and report on it. Then the last sentence is the kicker. Soros owned and interested corporations have received billions in bailout money and guarantees . . . but to the NYT he's working against his financial interests. Idiot or liar wrote this . . . probably both.

Soros, IndyMac, and One West:

Notice the sneering tone. The Kochs are evil because they are only interested in politics because they want to lower their taxes, while Soros is noble, because he supports higher taxes. The is always that assumption that higher taxes are good.

Maybe the Kochs realize that higher taxes are evil in and of themselves, regardless of what it means to their personal finances? Surely they can afford whatever the government is demanding. A change of three percent in the capital gains tax isn’t going to effect their lifestyle, one way or the other.

These idiots at the Times just can’t but play their old, dog-eared class-warfare card. Besides the race card, it’s the only card they have left in the deck.

Yes, and where does Rich expose the mafia running Climate Change in order to set-up the old carbon credits gambit? Billionaire Al Gore and Maurice Strong are at the center of that but they haven’t profited, have they?

Soros is transparent only because Beck has been washing the window.
