My father had thought he would go into the Navy or Marines so he ended up with a tattoo showing a globe an anchor.
Instead he found an opening in the Army Air Corps and had the globe and anchor over written with a gigantic eagle with a shield holding arrows, etc. in his talons.
All things are possible grasshopper. This young man can get into the Marines if he really wants to and prizes his patriotic ardor more than his tattoo.
can you believe the jerks on this forum?
and they wonder why we don’t cotton much to them
you ever watch those reality logging shows?
look at how those yankees treat one another screaming and cursing and trash talking and being just plain nasty to one another ..but of course all talk
and then look how their southern counterparts act in the same job....it defines our differences of behavior and respect in the proper sense of the word...they will never be like us...the good ones who come here become more like us than us like them
they will always be coarse, crude, hypocritical and self righteously indignant progressives that we will have to deal with again (some of them) one day
ROTFLMAO!!!! Won the war all on your own did you?
It is incontrovertible fact that most of the military men of this nation come from the former eleven states called the Confederacy.
It is BS.
Nonsense. The south does have a higher enlistment rate than other regions, but the statistics are that they make up about 42% of recruits out of a pool that includes 35% of the military recruitment-age population. Not wildly out of proportion, in other words. The states with the highest military enlistment rates, by they way, are Montana, Alaska, Wyoming and Maine.
Don’t tell that to the families of my uncles buried in Belgium & Luxembourg.
