O had was revoked because Indonesia did not recognize dual cicitsenship(sic) from what I understand.
US law is not trumped by some foreign country's laws and US law will not allow a parent to renounce a child's US citizenship
We have NO evidence of any reinstatemnet (sic) paperwork for O’s US citizenship.
There will never be evidence for something that was never required.
It is widely accepted O was adopted by Lolo Soetoro—hence O’s name of Obama ( Barry ) Soetoro on school records which have been shown on this forum.
As to the other point, I understand that Indonesia did not allow dual citizenship—i may be wrong, show me the refernce on this—in which case the citizenship of the father ( adoptive) is passed to the son.
This assumes he was a US citizen to begin with. He may not have received US citizenship through his mother because of her age, and regardless of who his genetic father was his legal father was O. Sr., a Kenyan. Pre-election he even indicated that he was a commonwealth citizen through his father, but chose not to confirm it on his 21st birthday. I think that with this he conceded that he was not “natural born” as understood by the founding fathers and Vattel’s Law of Nations.
