Maybe, maybe not. I have met some pretty clueless young and younger people. That is pretty much anyone 40 and under. Consider their education. What were they taught? Not much.
I agree - mere ignorance can be excused, but not bad attitudes, including rudeness and arrogance.
If someone is ignorant but doesn’t have the above attitudes, they’ll educate themselves.
