Hey Wiggy, you bring up a good point.

When has Obama *himself* ever said he was born in Hawaii?

Got a quote for us, chief?

Actually, yeah, I do have a quote. I even used to have a CNN video (which made you guys go berserk when it first came out) but can only find the transcript now. In it, a school kid asks Obama if he was born in Hawaii. He answers:

"Yes, I was born in Hawaii. That's true, absolutely. And my sister still lives in Hawaii."

It aired on October 19th, 2009 episode of Wolf Blitzer's "The Situation Room." You can find the transcript here:

And of course that doesn't include the letter he wrote to Kapiolani Medical Center claiming it as his place of birth. You can read about that on WND:

Now that is interesting. I can’t say if he ever said he was or not, but I’m going to look. It seems to me he and his pals always say he was “from Hawaii”.

The kid asked “Were you really born in Hawaii?”

“Yes I was, absolutely!” replied The Kenyan.

Then, the Kenyan quickly changes the subject to his dog named bo.
