My father would have done all the paper work after my birth.
BC info and such.
My mother was basically telling me that no one asked at the hospital about putting the birth announcement in the paper or they would have given them the info.
And neither my father or mother took any action to contact the local papers to give the info.
So my mother was saying because she didn’t give nor was asked for the birth info, no announcement made it in the papers.
And if one was put in any of the papers anyway they (mom or dad - news junkies) would have noticed it and clipped it out.
Did that change when your sister was born? How did they do it when she was born, and how many years apart were your births?
Not wanting to snoop or anything... ;)
