IIRC, you asserted that multiple vital records indicated that Obama must have an amended birth certificate and you further asserted that “filed by registrar” meant that his amended certificate had not yet been accepted by state and was probably pending approval. I believe you used Nevada’s documentation to support that claim, correct?
My point to Danae was that Okubo responded to someone’s direct request for index data on Obama’s amended certificate by saying that there were no records that met the request. And the birth index data showed only one entry for Obama.
Index data has nothing to do with making an amendment to your birth certificate. They mark up the original birth certificate with any amendments made so there would only be the one original entry for an amended BC.
The index is for the event. For instance, if you ask for index data for BHO II what you get is this:
Obama II, Barack Hussein, male, birth
He could have a delayed BC, Certificate of Hawaiian Birth, amended BC, etc, and the index data would still only say “birth”.
I’ve asked for index records for all the different categories of birth records possible and the only answer I’ve ever been able to get back from Okubo is that they are forbidden to reveal anything.
That’s when I realized that the only way I was going to get anything indicating the STATUS of the birth record was by seeing the actual document. The administrative rules allow any person to receive someone else’s abbreviated birth certificate (COLB) as long as the copy is not certified. So I asked for that, showing the DOH that the disclosure they are trying to say they can’t make is actually authorized to be given to ANYBODY WHO WANTS IT.
Until recently, birth certificate number and date of birth were actually REQUIRED to be released in the index data. And the non-certified COLB being available to anybody shows that the status of a record is not some great secret. The COLB is required to contain note of late filing or of amendments. And if the original birth certificate is incomplete they can’t even print a COLB. The proper response for such a request would be that no records exist.
I believe that was the situation Obama was in back in 2006. He could not get a legitimate COLB printed because his birth record was incomplete. So he added the item that was missing, only to find that the COLB would have to note that addition - which would reveal that his original BC was never handled by a doctor.
And THAT would have substantiated the speculation going around at that time - that Madelyn Dunham had filed a birth report because Ann was somewhere else and couldn’t do it for herself.
So he opted for a forged COLB placed online so he could trick most people while being able to claim that he never did the forgery or approved its posting.
