Perception is still reality. People who think a “public option” (i.e. government health care) think they will have high quality health care on the government’s dime. They don’t understand that with government health care, their health care will diminish to bare minimum levels.

That’s what this issue is missing. No one has explained to these dimwits that the “quality” of care they will receive from the government will be less than they can get currently by going to a hospital emergency room and waiting for indigent care.

If you want a sample of “free” government health care, visit a VA clinic.

What baffles me is that you know this guy probably hasn't read any real legislation pages, only the party line briefs.
If he had he would know the public plan is no better than what the uninsured could get now at the clinics. All paid for by cuts in Medicare and tax hikes. One of the real goals here is to bail out the Unions and relieve them of their obligations with their health pension funds. Something else we the taxpayer will pick up. Friggin socialists!
