Brings to mind imagery of the famous Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse (1940).
It's a good analogy. Just like the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, the forces that are being hurled against us will cause us to collapse, or be undone in some way.
In my mind, that undoing will come in the form of a second Revolution/Civil War.
If we move quickly, it will not cost us much in the way of lives and social destabilization. But, the longer we tarry, the higher the cost will be for the people, and our national security.
If we tarry too long, there will be no price we can pay that will restore our country to its former self.
