(In reference to whether Obama's mother could pass on citizenship)

I've heard people imply that these laws hold even if Obama was born in the United States—that particular claim (which you may not be making) is what I'm looking for info on.

There are some on here who claim that even if he was born here, he is still not in the spirit of a NBC because he was born a citizen of Britain, then Kenya and remained so (by his own admission) until the age of 21. He also could be have been a citizen of Indonesia.

Personally though, I think the 14th amendment makes it pretty clear that if he was born here, he’s a citizen and even NBC.
