Look, *when* two parents are citizens, and a child is born outside the U.S., there is:
NO QUESTION that the child is a natural born citizen.
That is U.S. law.
What is ALSO U.S. law is that it makes NO DIFFERENCE what your parents’ citizenship is if you are born in the U.S.
It’s not complicated, really.
If you’re born in the U.S., you are a natural born citizen.
There are just TWO kinds of citizens: born in the U.S. and naturalized.
Period.
Natural born is NOT a third kind.

I beg to differ.
Native born = kid born in US
Natural born = kid born in US (or US jurisdiction i.e. military base) AND both parents being US citizens
If there was not a distinction between the two, there would have been not need for a Sentate committee and vote to iron out McCain’s eligibility. The founding fathers included this term in the Constitution for POTUS eligibility to prevent loyalties to other countries.

I actually disagree with this statement since the founding fathers stated :
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President
The fact that they stated or Citizen at the time of the adoption of this constitution means they were giving themselves the ability to become President or any Citizen in that time period at the time of the adoption.
That's my take on it anyway!

Yes Natuaral born is the third kind. Native born (anchor babies), Naturialized, and Natural Born are the three types.
This has been rehashed many times before.
