What self-respecting forger would foul up the name of the country on an otherwise ingenious fraud?

A forger who had access to a Kenyan birth registration form that said "Republic of Kenya," that was produced after the country's name changed.

The posts are so numerous that we need an index. Probably several thousand posts ago, this issue was discussed at length. It was shown that contemporaneous newspapers and other things referred to the Republic of Kenya in 1963—in advance of the 1964 official name change. A poster put up an image of a newspaper article from 1963, showing Republic of Kenya in the actual article.

That’s a rather valuable commodity, don’t you think? If you have a blank form you can turn into a credible birth record for the POTUS, you don’t screw it up by making an obvious and very avoidable historical error.
