Please tell us when you think the document was issued and whether you think it was purportedly issued on the date that you posit or is it a document that was issued later and one that refers to a record issued earlier.

Actually, no. They would definitely NOT have wanted to use the old ones from pre-Dec 1963. So, they either would print up ‘Republic’ ones early, or print interim ones that said something different, which would have added cost by making them print completely different documents to use during the 10 months in question. That would most certainly add cost to do. The cheapest way to go is to print documents that you know you can keep using after the transition that they all knew was coming anyway.

Actually, WND does not say "very same time frame".

It says, "WND was able to obtain other birth certificates from Kenya for purposes of comparison, and the form of the documents appear to be identical. "

Would WND please clarify that the documents they were comparing against were issued BEFORE december 1964? It would be great if WND could produce a similar document before december 1964 that had a similar stamp and heading...

You are reading a 1999 article - of course it will say it's a Republic. What was it called in February 64 - 10 MONTHS BEFORE it OFFICIALLY became a REPUBLIC. We cannot assume that it jumped the gun and called itself a Republic before it became officially a Republic in Dec 64.
