Well, I still don't see terribly anything wrong with that earlier bankrate post that got killed three times quickly a few months ago. You can still see it at http://sanityisland.us/bank_texas_ratios.html.

So by my counting, this post tonight is my first and only strike in 7000 turns at bat, not to mention other forms of substantial contribution to FR fund drives and the Daily Dose column. If that had gotten an immediate ZOT, then that's not good in my view at all.

I have had posts pulled without a reason being given. Just pffft. But I knew exactly why. I looked it over or checked the source. I never tried to repost. And I certainly know to write to JR if I ever had a problem. I certainly would never make it public on a thread.

So, now, you have gotten everyone to go to you're source material and look at your stuff.

I suppose that was your intent with this thread all along.

Very interesting chart. Never heard of the Texas ratio.

I looked up my two banks with most of my assets in. USAA and Bank of America. Great to see, based on this ratio, that USAA is strong.

That's an interesting bankrate table, and I've bookmarked it for further study.

But the name invoked in the preface to the table as its source (Lew Rockwell) is a no-no as I recall.
