Within a second of speaking with the very much alive HP, she turns around and lies to LV. It's been stressed a number of times how LV could almost always detect a lie--"The Dark Lord always knows!"

I wondered about that, too, but at that point, Voldemort is just in such victory mode that he's not thinking anything except "He's dead; I win!!"

He was also probably still feeling the effects of being that beyond comfort thing in King's Cross

Voldemort was down and needed aid (which he waved away because he never wants help). He probably couldn’t tell who was lying. He’d have to look into her eyes, wouldn’t he, if he wanted to use Occlumency? If he were at full strength, he could’ve/should’ve been able to detect Harry’s life signs from a distance.
