Read your catechism and you will realize that there is NOTHING to apologize for or anything else.

This comes from the section The Church and non-Christians. The section talks about the Church's relationship with Jews, then its relationship with Muslims, and then it's relationship with other non-Christian religions. Following this, it talks about the truth of the statement, "Outside the Church There is No Salvation" (see my tagline). It sums up saying the following:

Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation. (emphasis mine)

and then:

RCC dogma on Islam changed Nonetheless, after six centuries of condemning of Islam and two centuries of Crusades against the Muslims, modern Roman Catholicism is welcoming and affirming the religion of Mohammed. Oh and by the way, the Catholic Church is the only religious body of any significant gravitas which is confronting Islam. Kindly mail Bennett a copy of the Holy Father's Regensburg address, along with a commentary so he can actually understand it.
