I've never posted a straight Vanity before.
But I am sick and tired of this good conservative, generally religious site being overrun by people posting "I'd hit it", whenever a picture of a good-looking girl is displayed.
It's demeaning, it's immoral, and I guess I'm just a prude but announcing to the world that you'd like to have sex with a woman based on her picture, like she was some object, hardly seems like the appropriate attitude on a conservative political site.
But rather than post in response to any particular person, I figured I'd just vent here where everybody could see and make fun of me.
So go ahead. I thank you for whatever indulgence you have given me in this rant.

Morning, all! A letter from Anoreth arrived yesterday, dated 7/12. She’s off crutches, and she passed her swimming test. The Injured Unit got to paint their quarters, and they did so well that they may get to paint other companies’ quarters! She got paid again (a major thrill).
She’s considering trying to sneak some art supplies into the “crew bay” to do portraits of her fellow recruits and car illustrations. Hopefully this won’t get her in trouble.
She thinks she’ll be back to regular training in two weeks.
It’s pretty obvious she’s going to do fine.
In accordance with the philosophy, “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade.”, Anoreth has decided that when life hands you paint, make portraits.
It is this flexible strength that marks, and makes, a truly successful career in any endeavor.
I think she’s so happy to be out in her adult life, with no parents or siblings, that she’d be content in the salt mines.

I gave Frank a bath; he smells much better now, according to Shannon. Now I have to read “Bill and Pete Go Down the Nile” to Vlad. He says he can’t, which isn’t true, but at least he still likes me!
Yep. I gave up on match.com. Most of the guys wouldn’t provide a photo, and their answers were nebulous, at best.
