I'm not assuming anything about you, simply pointing out where the line of arguement leads. It's attacking Rudy's political strength on a point even most of his opponents, at least those strong on the wot, would agree. So many other issues/examples to attack him on.

If you're looking for examples of govermental abuse, there's his various anti-2nd amendment actions, the gun manufacturers lawsuit was a clear attempt to circumvent the courts and Congress, both of whom rejected the concept.

Or at the core of his anti-crime efforts, the "stop and frisk" tactic, declared unconstitutional by the state Supreme Court, and fatal to a New Yorker or two.
