I am concerned about the report that 30% of Americans believe this. It is an especially dangerous example of malignant narcisism. Although the Popular Mechanics investigative team says this is the most investigated event in history, the narcisist trusts his own limited sources and expertise more than all of the eye witnesses and specialists who have analyzed more extensive evidence with the benefit of greater expertise.

Narcisists look out on the world and see only themselves projected. The rest of us live in an interdependant world where we rely on and benefit from the expertise of others in many fields. These narcissists wrongly believe that they are the smartest ones around. One main difference between today and the world of my youth is that we used to ridicule stupidity and shut it down. Now the ignorant and stupid impose their nonsense on us at every turn.

I have no interest, at all, in what Rosie O'Donnell says in conflict with the views of the best structural engineers in the biz.

One historian says that if you go to Normandy Beach and look at the news reports displayed of the invasion, you will see that all of them were wrong. They call journalism the first draft of history. Black boxes cannot get caught up in wind and float out of the immediate area. All kinds of paper from the collapsed buildings were scattered all over in that area of Manhattan.
