I just want say again that you are my favorite people on FR.
As always, it's been a pleasure being in your company--especially this year, with all the insanity that's been happening "out there". It was a relief to able to visit the Smoky Backroom and relax with friends for a few hours each week.
God bless you and I hope we can do it all again next year! :)
Jonny
I couldn’t have said it any better.
No matter how horrible the show is I know that you all will make me laugh until I cry! It’s like we’re all in a big living room, lounging on comfy sofas, and cracking each other up. I’ve said it many times before, that even though we are not together physically, we are together in spirit.
Like fatima said up thread, this season we all got by with a little help from our FRiends! :-)
Thanks for hosting the thread again. Your collages, montages and extemporanious pics are always a blast! :)
Thank you so much, jonny. I always feel a little sad when it’s over each year. I know I’ll see all of you around the other threads, but this thread has been a haven. It’s a place to get away from the bad news and the scary news of the day, and to relax with friends, among whom are many gifted humorists.
‘Til next season...God Bless and Keep Each of You in His Loving Care!
And may God bless Jordin and keep her as sweet as she is today.
Thank you so much for hosting this season,SJ!! It was a crappy season but as always, a great thread! (Did anyone ever count just how many variations on the name Sanjaya we came up with? LOL!) Hope you host again next season!!! (And I hope Simon et al. realize they need to go back to promoting TALENT instead of marketability!)
(Oh, and I never told you, Jonny, but the night you called Phil “Chupacabra,” I almost had to change my shorts, I was laughing so hard! Thanks again!)
At the Continental Arena in NJ, for game 6 of the Nets/Cavs NBA playoff series ( the Nets lost, BTW ) Antonella Barba, aka "Skankaraella" caused a mini-riot. Enjoying her 15 minutes of fame, she was seated courtside near the Nets bench, when she was recognized by fans, and a stampede and near chaos ensued as hundreds descended upon her to get pics and autographs. Some of the Nets players were confused as to what was going on, what all the commotion was about.
