No kidding! It wasn’t normal. She kept her fingers in her mouth and wailed when the reporter asked her a question. There is definitely a problem...
LOL! Politically incorrect, but effective :)
You know something's wrong when even Sanjaya is embarrassed.
That was a real weird outfit, but I guess she could pull it off.
OMG Bette Midler is awful!!! She is going to replace Celene Dion at Ceasar’s Palace? WTF!
No problem. I’ll see if I can get it onto DVD one of these days. I hate when Comcast does that.
You’re so welcome!
I was a lot more silent than you were! :-)
Thank you for everything. Tonight I was so very happy to see Hell’s Kitchen and So You Think You Can Dance coming back. I love both those shows. I think I can go on now.
Thanks for sharing such an inspirational article. It sounds like Chris has his priorities in the right place!
Isn’t she the one who drew the short straw cause she had to put up with Amanda and Antonella she got so rattled she forgot the words? That was too bad because she has a great voice and personality.
Yes...that’s her. And she said that group thing was her worst experience of the entire thing.
Wow. What a letdown. My dvr is set for two minutes over and I still missed the entire last segment.Good thing I didn’t care who won. Most of the show was great but man, I could have done without Bette Midler and Green Day. I wish they’d just concentrate on the Idols. Kelly was awesome, Rueben, Taylor, Chris, Carrie, fantastic! I’ve really enjoyed this thread, though it’s tough for us West Coasters to fully participate. See you all next year!
T Y Jonny for the gargantuan greeting with fireworks even...Nnniiiicce!!
“Finally” in my prior post I meant finale but it is Finally the Finale so even that typo would fit tonight! LOL!
I really enjoyed the opening # with J & B!
I enjoyed Kelly & Carrie.
(Everything they did K & C & T all but the Sgt. Pepper’s songs.)
I loathed the awards portion...quite an embarrassing time waster. Especially BIG BIRDTHA!
I hate Green Day and Bette Middler’s political views etc...
But on singing alone I do like their voices.(Again...Just their singing voice not what they say or do in other areas.)
+ There are times when I’ve seen Bette Midler on talk shows and her clean;non political; humorous side is funny some times. Wish she wasn’t a Lib.+ all that comes with that way of so, called thinking!
Blake was a very gracious; and supportive;cheerful runner up...It was sweet to see that from him tonight!
G’night sweet Jonny! *see* Ya ‘round!
Long before next A I season...
Thank God for that!!!!!
Thank you so much for hosting this season,SJ!! It was a crappy season but as always, a great thread! (Did anyone ever count just how many variations on the name Sanjaya we came up with? LOL!) Hope you host again next season!!! (And I hope Simon et al. realize they need to go back to promoting TALENT instead of marketability!)
(Oh, and I never told you, Jonny, but the night you called Phil “Chupacabra,” I almost had to change my shorts, I was laughing so hard! Thanks again!)
Yeah, Johnny...I’ve loved your artwork and everyone’s great comments, and especially your hosting the thread, thanks!
‘Til next year!
Ed
“BJA in a jean jacket, wtf. The song is okay at least, but I would have liked something faster.”
Not a classic Green Day performance by any stretch. Boring song for them.

That’s just over the top. Either she’s faking or she has some serious emotional issues. Regardless it sounds like she needs some kind of help.
At the Continental Arena in NJ, for game 6 of the Nets/Cavs NBA playoff series ( the Nets lost, BTW ) Antonella Barba, aka "Skankaraella" caused a mini-riot. Enjoying her 15 minutes of fame, she was seated courtside near the Nets bench, when she was recognized by fans, and a stampede and near chaos ensued as hundreds descended upon her to get pics and autographs. Some of the Nets players were confused as to what was going on, what all the commotion was about.
according to amazzon.com you can buy a Carmen Rasmussen CD for $4.21, a Jasmin Trias CD for $8.56, and a John Stevens CD for $1.24....
