OMG Bette Midler is awful!!! She is going to replace Celene Dion at Ceasar’s Palace? WTF!
I suspect that Ceasars paid a LOT of money to have her come out and sing that song. It was obviously a publicity stunt that backfired. There is simply no other explanation for her being there last night.
I said the same thing to DH. Even he couldn't believe it and he really doesn't have much to say about these things. From how it sounded last night she'll have trouble fulfilling even a one year contract. Maybe she'll end up singing backup for Barry Manilow at the Hilton.
