Uh-oh CYA time ... Seacrest asks Simon if he wants to clarify his remarks.
"I would never disrespect those families." Simon says he didn't hear Chris say anything about V-Tech.
And to prove it, they show video from last night--a split-screen of what we saw and what Simon was doing while Chris was talking. He was whispering to Paula about "nasally" the whole time Chris was talking about V-Tech. He really didn't hear him! Simon is innocent.
