It was nice to hear the judges finally rip on Chris tonight for his nasal and “pitchy” voice. I think they must have paid someone to get the blackmail photos from his dressing room.
BTW...Tradesports bottom 3 is the same as Dail Idol now.
Sanjaya to go home with Kiki and Chris just behind.
Last week Tradesports had Haley to go right up until Nigel made a comment about a “surprise” vote off and it switched to Lakisha. I don’t know why Nigel did that because Haley going home was no surprise.

Hi Jonny. Thank you for your ping and for your running commentary. I hope you're still around. I'm SO happy Simon said what we've been thinking for a long time about Melinda and Sanjaya:
Simon: "I'm about to compliment you, but I'm going to ask you to lose the surprise. That was fantastic ... But you have to lose this 'Who? What? I'm a great singer?'"
Simon: "Utterly horrendous. It was as bad as anything we see at the beginning of American Idol ... I know this has been funny for a while, but based on the fact that we're supposed to be finding an American Idol, that was terrible."
As for Chris R. saying this, "Nasally is a form of singing, I don't know if you know that," what a load of bull s&*t! This guy is a calculating, manipulative jerk.
BTW, I've come to the conclusion that Melinda is not a great singer. She's got a really good voice, but she lacks any sense of the musical era in which she lives. She also lacks charisma. All in all, over the weeks she's become stale and uninteresting, and even more than a little bit annoying.

Simon to walk off if Sanjaya gets through againI was thinking this too...I really don't expect it to happen, but it would just make for some interesting drama:)...

(Chris R.) Oh...he pulled the Virginia Tech card...too He sure did. That was shameless.
There's a time for saying something like that, like what Seacrest said at the beginning of the show. But giving a "shout out" to V-Tech right after he was panned by the judges seems shallow and self-serving, even if he was being sincere.

Jordin IMO, from a marketing point of view IS Idol material.

Did you see the look he just gave Chris before he made that comment to V Tech? Yep. That "who the hell are you?" look. Chris deserved it too.
This wasn't the night to argue with the judges. Especially if he was planning to mention V-Tech two seconds later.

Because he’s a producer and ratings are down is my guess. It’s kind of like if there is a ton of advertising for a movie you can pretty much bet on it stinking. When Nigel says the show has a “big surprise” count on it being business as usual.

Nasal is a form of singing. Yeah, a crappy, no talent form.LOLOL!
The more I think about that exchange the angrier I get. What a smug a-hole Chris is.

Jordin IMO, from a marketing point of view IS Idol material.I agree. I'm hoping for a Jordin and Blake final, if only for the fact that both of them are far more interesting than the others remaining in the contest.
Unfortunately, I would not be at all surprised if Sanjaya and Melinda were the finalists, and I expect Melinda to win.

You are spot on with your opinions ...I totally agree with you.
When Simon was telling Melinda to knock off the surprised look...she pretty much ignored him, I think.
