Thanks for the Easter wishes, jonny. Here’s wishing everyone a blessed Easter/Passover celebration.
If you have a bone to pick about offensive religious comments, that’s one thing. But as far as racist, I haven’t read of anyone saying anything racist about him.
I know for sure I haven’t. What I have said is that he sucks. His singing sucks, I think he’s creepy looking, and I thing he’s so feminine he probably doesn’t have a penis.
So what. He’s a public figure. He knows what’s going on. He’s hanging in anyway to make all of the money that he can, in spite of how much he sucks at the expense of the other contestants.And he’s using every gimmick he can to do it. Don’t tell me he can come out with his faux hawk and I’m not supposed to say anything. It’s like not saying anything about Pee Wee Herman. You think that’s normal?
So do I think he has class or character? No. Will I refrain from typing my opinion? No. He annoys me and MANY other people. So what if he’s Indian. I’m not going to give him a pass because he is.

Oooops, a bit of incongruence between the posted pic and tagline. HAHAhahaha! That’s definitely not me. Just thought y’all might enjoy the Peep show. ;-)
He goes out there every week and puts on a show. The best singer in this competition by far is Melissa, but she is not an American Idol. She looks and dresses and sings like a grandmother and her constant wide eyed (who-me?) false humility is wearing a bit thin.
Jordin Sparks is going away the most talented singer since she can sing anything and melissa and LaKeesha can't sing anything that wasn't first sung by Aretha Franklin or Ella Fitzgerald. They are both one dimensional singers, whereas Jordin can sing any kind of music and make it sound fantastic.
Sanjaya will be the last "man" standing in this competition since he is the most recognizable and quite frankly the rest of the guys are quite forgetable (although Blake is a little different and may stand an outside chance of beating out Sanjaya.
The contest is what it is. It is a popularity contest. The singing competition ended when the judges stopped voting. In the end I suspect it will be Jordin and either Sanjaya or Blake in the final two. And for pure entertainment value I would prefer that it would be Sanjay against Jordin.
As much as everyone around here laughs at Sanjaya and calls him "gay", he's done a lot more in his 17 years than most of his most vocal critics here have done in twice that time.
He's a good kid and he has some raw talent or he would not have made it this far. His smile is infectious and he's got the teeny bopper vote in the bag. And they are the one's who vote 50 times each every week. I don't vote but I enjoy the show. What cracks me up is seeing all the people here who take this show sooooo darn seriously as if the world will end if Sanjaya walks away with the crown. Frankly I think it would be great. IMO the only contestant at this point who has the potential to produce a platinum album is Jordin Sparks. And she will get that record deal whether she finishes first or goes home next week.

Nah, not skewered:). I agree pretty much with everything you say. Even about Sanjaya...but I still don’t like him:\. Yeah he seemed pretty humble at the start, but he is definitely developing an attitude. Which I can forgive him for, after all he is just 17. But, he needs to learn the attitude will hurt more then help, consequences:) I still don’t think there is any danger of him winning tho, so I’m just ignoring him.
I’m pulling for Jordin. I think you are right about her. She is more Idol like, what they are looking for IMO...then any of the others. There are a few great singers in the group, but they all, except Jordin, have some traits that aren’t right for winning the whole thing.

I found a real life person who admits she voted for Suckjaya. She has a good excuse. Sort of. She’s Indian so she gave him some support and she’s our friday night/saturday morning step instructor.
I just read that Sanjaya’s sister has been exposed—maybe overexposed—in nudie pics all over the net. Shocking!
Maybe that’s why Sanjaya got to stay and she got the heave-ho.
I hope there are no nekkid pics of Sanjaya lurking out there.
