I agree......Jordin was the best.
Let’s rephrase...Jordin IS the best.
The whole package, great voice, good entertainer will improve with experience, wonderful wholesome personality, and a very pretty girl.
How easy will that be to market. The judges should be building her up more.

I agree, it will be Phil.
I thought the British invasion week was better than last night.
I liked that week too, it was probably 2nd, IMO, but I think there were not as many good performances that week as there was this.

Phil was great last night. He’s got the smooth ‘Frank Sinatra’ voice, and he really did a good job. I don’t know why they think his singing is dark and gloomy.
It really is great fun for me to lurk over on the various music boards. I don't have the time to post, but I can read the various boards and relax. No politics. No heavy topics. Just a lot of happiness and disecting the music world, various songs, the careers of different artists, and so on. Such a great change of pace.
Then every once in awhile I come across a gem like that little exchange I posted for you to enjoy. Q: "What are they giving back?" A: "Africa" and "New Orleans"
Too funny, especially because, without even knowing or trying, the kids are skewering the overstuffed limo libs beautifully.
So, in celebration of their refreshing take on the Idol Gives Back thingy, here are some smilies I found there:
Sigh...I know, but hope lives. :)
I think he may make it through tonight because of his “sang it to the wife” comment. I had more busy signals voting for Phil than I did with Gina.
Bo is coming out with some new music. He did the title track to the new Will Ferrell movie, "Blades of Glory." Apparently, in this new movie Ferrell does to figure skating what he did to auto racing in his last movie.
Anyway, here's the link to the video, which features Bo prominently.
Seems that Bo has had a series of health problems since he was on Idol, including another stint in the hospital last October. He's never really been able to get his career on track because of his health issues.
Here are links to a couple of recent photos of him. In the first, he was arriving at LAX (L.A. airport). The second is from the launch party at the Playboy mansion for the third season of Girls Next Door. Simon, Randy and Ryan were at the party, and Bo hooked up with them. So maybe he'll appear on that Idols Gives Back mini telethon thingy also.
There are fan-made videos of Bo singing a couple of his new songs in a club somewhere. I won't post the links here because the quality is so bad, but just wanted to let his fans here know he's coming out with some new stuff.
I think it’s the “anti-hottness” vote!
First Paulina, now Miss USA! If the trend continues, Haley’s gone tonight.
I think you were looking at the wrong link.
Tradesports had Haley to “go” early on but by Wednesday afternoon it had switched to Chris S. But they were very close in votes.
Tradesports and AOL Poll have been pretty good this year. I’ll post the noon rundown.
I’m like Simon on that opinion...He could not have been less Frank Sinatra if he had tried. I told my husband during the performance, no one sings that song like FS...and IMO, Phil was horrible. It really should have had a more up beat sound. Rod Stewart sings it well. Phil just slowed it down way to much.

If Haley goes home we'll still have Julianne, Kym, Cheryl,
Edyta, Elena and Karina. The bench is pretty deep at DWTS.
True....But I was talking about the “Stars” and not the dancers.
But the pro’s could be in any beauty contest they wanted.
I’m amazed what kind of talented beautiful ballroom dancers come out of these eastern block countries. It’s like they are the equivalent of Caribbean countries turning out pro baseball players. For the ladies, that counts for the pro men I would assume. Ballroom is a cottage industry in eastern Europe.
