me too - what are the 60s but the beatles.....how sad! (and did you see the soon-to-be ex Mrs Paul McCartney last night? that is one icy cold female - what the heck paul saw in her I will never know....and of course the judges are giving her a pass because of the leg issue!)

Chris R. - Decent. He should probably ease up on the ADD meds and bring a little energy to the stage. I honestly can't see him as a pop star. He's destined for acting. I predict some ridiculous teeney-bopper soap type series. Possible candidate for going home.
Stephanie What's up with the first measure making me think of The Final Countdown. She's stuck in the shadows, this one. Pretty gal, forgettable song. Again with the killer earrings. I think I'm going to skip this fad. I don't need earlobes drooping to my knees.
Blake Blake Blake Blake. He's going to corner the teenage anti-diva vote. I like him and I hate myself for that. Dang what a refreshing rendition of Time of the Season. Vey vey cool. Paula is in the mood for SQUISH. I think he'll go farther in the competition than the Sligh guy.
Kisha Great bling - t'aint nothing like the real thing. I love the hair. The whole ensemb is kinda silly like a Bond movie. Loved the wah-ah-wah-ah guitar in the accompaniment. *Not* her best performance. She's safe, tho.
Phil This dog just don't hunt. At least it was uptempo. That's good for a lot of benefit-of-the-doubt from me. I think that might be embroidery on the shirt and not sweat. But the fact that I had to pause the TiVo and look close means its just a bad wardrobe choice. High probability of going home.
Jordin She's just so gosh darn cute and what a great voice. Unbelievable! If she doesn't make it in music I can see her in movies. Super cute dress. Loved the flapper influence - subtle and very ladylike.
Sanjaya made me cry, too. In a horrified, gouge my eyes out kind of way.
Gina I'm liking the new haircut. First few notes were whacked, but it picked up. Overall it fell short. I agree with Simon: "Style over content." Candidate for going home, unfortunately.
The Sligh Guy Definately the brainy one of the bunch. Points for that. Points for a great performance, he could record that tomorrow. Points for wearing paisley. Purple paisley, even. He needs to shave that little tuft of fur on his lower lip, tho. Overall he's a keeper.
Melinda she's just too good. It's almost not fair how good she is. Her look was very *mature*, almost too old for the competition.

I agree. Those types of tops are really in style right now, but if you are curvy at all they end up looking like you either have droopy boobs or are pregnant.
