thank goodness for Country music. Amen!
I'm liking Country music more and more. And they have the best award shows by far.

I’m a decade behind you grania but agree with your assessment of the power of the purse. I love Melinda for her down to earth trueness she brings and her God given talent.
I have no horse in this race, they all are very good. I tend to side with the marketability of the talent, I have never bought an Idol CD and probably never will but if I had to give a contract to a pop star I believe looks would play a part in that. i know that’s shallow but it’s part of the Hollyweird culture unfortunately.

Just hanging out watching House. Medication commercials always amuse me (in a sad way) when they list off the side effects. I wonder if the ever progressive writers for House will write a show around the side effects of some random chic 'script and have the team run all sorts of invasive and horrible interventions trying to figure out the disease only to have House at the end say, "Ah, ha! It was the Cymbalta!" or whatever.

I remember last year he had a "sit-down" with each of the top three. This year, nothing.
