Hi Wolfstar :)

I'm sure you heard that Michael Jackson is supposed to make an appearance on AI this year. Ugh!

Yeah :-/

But I don't think it will happen. I just can't see the freak interacting with relatively normal people for any length of time. And Idol would have to say how great he is without ever mentioning all of his pedophile charges ... It just sounds like more trouble than he's worth.

This guy could not be gayer if his name was Gay G. Gay.

Rotflmaopimp!! I'm sorry, but this has to one of the all time CLASSIC lines ever written...

It's that good, because as we all know, "God likes good lines."

Hi, Twin :)

The show felt rushed to me too.

Did anyone think Sundance was that good tonight? I would have kept ten others they let go over him.

What a disappointment!

I think they did the elimination rounds in 2 shows last year. That did feel rushed tonight. Tomorrow we find out who's our top 24.

Anyone know what happened to that Opera girl from NY City? She's the one who sang 3 styles of song in her audition. I know she made it to Hollywood but I didn't see her tonight.

But I don't think it will happen.

I hope not. Many of today's youngsters don't really even know who Jackson is musically because he was before their time. Many of today's parents will be digusted if he shows up on one of the few shows the entire family can enjoy together. So I agree with you that it sounds like more trouble than it's worth...to AI.

To Jackson, however (and a lot of over-the-hill celebs) AI probably seems like a great vehicle to use for a come back.

Hey! Another B'ham area guy made through tonight to the next round. Actually he's from Pleasant Grove and is a student at Auburn. The news wasn't saying if he made it to 24, but they never mention them if they don't, so I think he might have. Think his name is Brian Johnson or something like that. Sorry, I'm not much better with the name. Thanks for hte thread jonny. :)

Dumb Baylie would still be in it if only she could remember lyrics!

I noticed that Baylie was missing two or three fake fingernails on her left hand. Since she's only 16, I can just imagine that she thought that that was the WORST THING THAT COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN, OMIGOSH! and was very flustered about it during her performance. Either that or she and Amanda had a cat-fight after the decision...I suppose we would have seen that though : )

And one more thing. WHY do they make these young kids sing these old songs? Of course none of them can memorize the lyrics because they've never heard the songs.

Anyone know what happened to that Opera girl from NY City?

You mean Rachel Zevita. I don't think she made it precisely because I didn't see her tonight, and didn't notice she was in the top 24 on another board I read that was a spoiler thread. I thought she was an awesome singer, but sometimes it's just not about the singing.

I really don't think they do this right at all. They should at the very least show the ones they showed making it in the auditions and stop wasting time with focusing on overly Gay little boys calling mom so they could feel "Loved." Man, those segments were such a waste of time and super sized sucked! Also, it was interesting the jugdes mentioning not to forget your words AFTER everyone had practiced the songs. If Bailey would have learned her words she would have beaten the Skank hands down!

I was thinking the same thing..that means she was very, very good..maybe the best..she's a "surprise" for later

BTW..I want to place a bet on Baylie making the live round nest time out...

Rachel Zevita! That's it!

Too bad. I thought she was great. Best voice in the NYC group by far.

As for Bailey, if the competition was on "looks alone" or who Simon has the hots for, her and Pickler Jr. would have made it.

Well...on to the finals and some (maybe) good singing.
