It is just gross.I totally agree. Today's 20-somethings and teenagers do very strange, ugly things to themselves in an effort to be in or cool, or whatever.

And a guy. Please not gay. The gaydar detected no gayness :) He seemed like an all around decent guy.

ROFLMAO!!! Didn't that happen once last year, too? Yeah--the guy had the DVD with him! After he was rejected, he went outside and smashed the DVD with a hammer--LOL!

BTW, Jonny, word is McPhee sold around 100,000 copies of her McAlbum in its first week. Norah Jones' new album is projected to open at #1 when they report this week's sales.

The old man who lost his "lady"--not "wife"--was ridiculous. Why do you say that?

It's not what the show is supposed to be about. That guy could go on Oprah or Dr. Phil or Montel.
JMHO, but AI seems to be running out of steam this season.
Maybe it will be better when the real talent shows up.

100k is kinda on the low side for a top finisher from last year. Daughtry had 300k and Taylor just under that. She's gonna need a hit single - and more public tata showings. Britney Spears, pick up the courtesy phone...
To: Wolfstar
Agreed. And so non-functional..... :-)

I saw McPhee on Leno's show Monday night (I tuned in to see "Chloe" from 24 and McPhee was the musical guest). She was okay, but the song was TERRIBLE. "So over" or "Over it" something like that. It sounded like the bland generic muzac you hear in the dentist's office.

It's not what the show is supposed to be about. Well I enjoyed it. Everyone knew he wasn't seriously auditioning for the competition--it was just a great moment of TV.

Her McAppearance on Leno was pretty roundly panned on the music forums. over3Owithabrain, you're right, 100,000 copies is not horrible, but it's on the low side. Should put her in the top five next week, though, unless it was a hot week for album sales.
