Of course a minute can be spared for your nephew, my 8 mo old granddaughter was in hospital just a few days before Christmas, the worry is just overwhelming when they are that small. He's in my prayers

I know it's a respiratory virus that mainly strikes infants. It's that time of year for upper respiratory infections and the like. I hope you feel better soon! Mucinex really, really helps with the phlegm and mucus in your chest and you can get without a prescription.

Thank you very much. I have missed 2 days of work but will be going in tomorrow even though I am not better. I just can't miss work. If I don't get any better I will be back to see the doctor by this Friday. I got scared enough at one point that I thought about requesting hospitalization - which they don't do unless you are on your deathbed ......but I don't really want to be in a hospital around all those other potential infection agents. I just want to be able to breathe again.

I just looked up RSV - Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection - a childhood illness. But I wonder what it does if it gets into an adult? Sheesh. I don't want to be a "study" case but I sure do want to improve. I've never had a cough/cold thing that hasn't improved after getting on an antibiotic or other meds that helped....Thanks again for your prayers.

Thank you. They are keeping him in the hospital tonight just as a precaution since he's so little. You just feel so bad for them! Being an adult and in the hospital is scary.
