Not really. I've known a lot of lesbians. Resentment of parents for whatever reason (absentee-ism prevalent among them) seems to be a common thread. That and abuse at the hands of the trusted men in their lives and other severe mental illnesses (eating disorders, depression, anger, anxiety).

Lesbianism isn't anything like what the TV-talkshows and porn-sites make it out to be. It's a destructive and sad lifestyle for women who have often truly suffered. People who enable their delusion aren't helping matters. Only making things worse.

I live and work in the Bay Area. I have known and know a lot of lesbians. I don't see the characteristics you have mentioned as being prevalent among them.

Would that be why she's so close to her father? She and Dick really seem to have a strong relationship. I never saw it as something sinister.
