How terrible, to have this claim to be German, and surrounded by German origin people (what is it, about 65% or so in NE Indiana) and to close yourself off from them because they are Reformed/Lutheran and not Annabaptist/Amish.

The "reformed/lutherans", as well as the Catholics, used to torture, burn-alive and drown the Anabaptists for heresy back in Europe, right into the late 1600s.
