Having lived in that area, I am aware of that.
Oops, misunderstood...just being helpful. It is beautiful around there, once you're away from the commercial area.
It's insane what is happening in schools across the country. When I was young, school and home were the havens. It was the walk in between where dangers loomed. Even then, it was simply "Don't go up to a car that a stranger is driving." Inside the school and on the playground at recess, things could be rough with teasing/bullying/etc, but loss of life was never a thought.

I lived in Reading for a while and Lancaster is not that far from there.
I've been all over this country and that's some of the most beautiful I've seen.
Sadly when I lived around there buggies were common and once in a while one would get hit by a car - horse and driver didn't have much of a chance against a car.
