Ditto for alcohol, caffeine, tobacco, saturated fats and a list of other substances that harm the human organism. Addressing the stupidity problem is done via education and medical knowledge. To ignore the medical issues is ignorant of life itself. BTW, if drugs weren't a medical problem no person would become addicted to drugs -- legal or illegal drugs -- but some people are addicted.
