Tiktaalik is just your basic nine-foot Arctic-Equatorial mudskipper with a head like a crocodile.
(It's in the Arctic NOW, YECs. It was near the equator THEN.)

Normally I find animals that look like they are in-between major phyla somewhat icky & threatening. But those mudskippers are sooooooooo cuuuuuuuute!!!

Vade, everytime I see that photo, I have a brief but instantaneous impression that the mudskipper had just gnawed through the tree it is sitting on.
