TO read the headlines, intelligent design as a challenge to evolution seems to be building momentum.
...
Behind the headlines, however, intelligent design as a field of inquiry is failing to gain the traction its supporters had hoped for. It has gained little support among the academics who should have been its natural allies. And if the intelligent design proponents lose the case in Dover, there could be serious consequences for the movement's credibility.
On college campuses, the movement's theorists are academic pariahs, publicly denounced by their own colleagues. Design proponents have published few papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

"If you wish to believe you came from a drip and evolved from an ape then so be it but don't push your ideas onto me. :)"
I didn't think you had a rational response.
BTW, not only did we evolve from an ape, we ARE apes. :)
And yet my post that you chose to respond to - unsolicited, naturally - was about the debate tactics of IDists. Now you apparently don't want to discuss that any more. As I said, probably a good move on your part. A better one still might have been not to jump in in the first place.
See Posts #572, 584, and 614, this thread.
This is data. This is evidence. What say you?
It is the Christians of Kansas that attempt to "prove" the existence of God by redefining science itself. Any true believer should reject such illegitimate means of promoting faith.
Wow, that was fast. Some of you must sit by the computer all day (not that there's anything wrong with that).
When I asked you for a post #, you made a silly joke, so I figured you did not want to discuss it any more. Have you changed your mind?
And you avoided my question about the reading assignment that I gave you. It was short.
Maybe you didn't like the subject. Here's another reading assignment, unless you're afraid to debate the topic:

"I didn't think you had a rational response.

Is THIS an example of a rational response?
Wow. I've never seen a point missed by anywhere near that much. Here's the point: The number of languages a book has been translated into has no bearing whatever on the accuracy of its contents.
Your lucky day.
When I asked you for a post #, you made a silly joke, so I figured you did not want to discuss it any more.
And I am responsible for your misunderstanding how, exactly?
And you avoided my question about the reading assignment that I gave you.
Yawn. Been there, done that. Since you've obviously given up any hope of making your opponents the bad guys in the guilt-by-association game, feel free to move on, I guess. Tell you what - pick out your favorite argument from that mess, present it, and I'll shoot more holes in it than a shotgunned swiss cheese. Deal?
Whatever would lead you to think that anyone, anywhere, could possibly believe man is perfect?
Don't forget to ask for nouns.
Is that you again, Cash? Haven't you worn out your welcome here by threatening JimRob?
What's this, a new way to play Jeopardy?
LOL
I'll take "incomprehensible questions devoid of sentence structure" for $100, Alex.
How about starting with the two links I gave you?
Speak for yourself.
No wonder I'm better looking than you. lol
