The mother of a missing Alabama teen said Friday that she's pleased that two Surinamese brothers are back in police custody in the disappearance of her 18-year-old daughter.
Natalee Holloway vanished on the Dutch Caribbean island May 30.
Beth Holloway Twitty told reporters Friday she didn't know nothing anything the third person in custody. Jug Twitty, the teen's stepfather, said the arrests could mean that authorities have evidence linking Satish and Deepak Kalpoe to the case.
The brothers had been arrested June ninth and released from jail in July after a judge ruled there was not enough evidence to hold them.
Authorities are holding but have never charged another man, Joran van der Sloot, in connection with Holloway's disappearance.
A family spokesman said Friday that an auction held last night in Birmingham to help cover the family's search-related expenses raised $110,000.
