Amen, TexKat! You have to keep the heat on! This isn't "Monk" or "Columbo" where all crimes are neatly solved in one hour.

And I am sure that the "investigation" will terminate before the "players" in Aruba are detected. In fact, I doubt that PVDS will face any charges or that any of the owners/employees of CC or other establishments will be touched. Therefore, it is the "Blog Light" that will expose these degenerates.

I'm still of the mindset that PVDS is the 'big' target. I think Jaime will give him up. I presume that Jaime and Lorenzo are the same person.

TexKat, I especially want to thank you for your statements regarding 'ye of little faith' on this thread! Many of us predicted exactly what is unfolding before our eyes. If ALE is charging premed murder, I cannot put into print what that tells me has happened.

Anita VDS said it best: "it's not just about Natalee anymore." She's right. It's about taking down the guilty in any way. They've had many other victims and they need to be stopped.

What would it be like in the jail/prison for the son of the ex- Top Cop?

Good question! I imagine you are correct about Giliam. He's probably in on it and friends with Joran, and Van Der Stratten is Joran's godfather, right? He's got TWO boys he's protecting here. He and Daddy Paulus know what they're boys were into. Will they do the stand-up thing and tell the truth? I pray that Paulus is rearrested on the porn film thing! That would seal the deal!

Papa VDStn's conflict of interest was plain for all to see from the beginning. Many here have called for him to be investigated.

Oh, I forgot - I'm sure Aruba has no law allowing for investigation of top government officials - after all, they are part of the good-old-boyyz club.

I want to add a couple of things that keep coming up from SM:

1) Gilliam is supposedly NOT Van Straatan's son, according to sources on the island

Personally, I find it hard to believe he is not related to the former police chief in some manner, and this may be more a case of semantics imo, parsing of words.

2) PVDS is not someone of influence in Aruba/does is not known to be in that circle of such people

Again, this is what is being said by sources on the island, but I don't buy it: we all have witnessed his power the last 3 months.

3) PVDS failed his test on purpose to stay in position to be ready to help/divert cases.

I don't thinks so, I believe he was kicked out completely, cleaned out his office and is being paid until the end of a certain period and then it is vamoose...he's outta there.

4) They is talk that Joran may have been in jail for his protection, while the others are the main target.

Ok, if you buy that, how about a nice Bed & Breakfast in New Orleans ;-)

5) There is talk also of a friend of friend, saying they flew that first night with the Twittys to Aruba, and the word they initially had was through a police snitch, Natalee was being passed around that very first day 5/30

This would fit right in with Beth's comment "we could fix her"

Let me make perfectly clear: I don't agree with SM,

What I'm saying is, I think what we are saying here is on target. I think there is some disinformation going on over at SM. There is a strong force that keeps repeatedly making the effort to say PVDS is NOT powerful or influential (how could he not be???) and that this Gilliam is not the son of the police chief. They don't explain who he is beyond that.

My intention was to praise this team, and to let it be known that I do think it has been very hard work to keep the false from the truth (what little is known).

I have trouble with SM and RW and some who post there. SM has a fair amount of Arubans who are, naturally, defensive and no doubt are ready to have the media off their happy little island. I like most of the comments I see here more, just as you have said.

That said, they will never see a dime of my money there if I visit every place on earth.
